Yes. Just what I wanted and for this very reason. Tracking John Munch appearances. I don't even like the character very much! But he's *everywhere.* And that means a little bit that Elmo and Lt. Giardello live in the same universe.

Just read on Kottke that Belzer will be making another cameo appearance as Det. John Munch in the final season of The Wire, marking the 8th show that the character has appeared in. (Arrested Development? Seriously? Not as weird as Sesame Street, I guess).
