I like Parts and Labor ok, but this is just sort of in a class by itself.

Not to get all livejournal-y, but Last Splash has turned into my album of choice for those moments that I'm feeling really down, not because I find it bouncy and peppy, but because the combination of noise washes and fragile vocals incredibly cathartic.

Back from their whirlwind world farming tour and already with new dates scheduled. Phase 2 is beginning!

O-K. I can't tell if this is Jpop or Portland-style electro. I think it's Jpop? Who the hell knows. Just saw this video on the aforementioned Specialten. Superb. More.
