2011 edition, via my not-suited-to-high-speed-night-photography camera. in previous years the route has gone down Beard street, which has so many cobblestones it's unpleasant to walk on, let alone ride on, this year the race was moved to Imlay Street, which seemed smooth and was also closed to automobile traffic.

"The ease with which he cracks wise is natural to his line of work, but Marlowe’s wit is unique in that it isn’t a defense mechanism. His cynicism is nothing new among ’70s private eyes, but the fact that it isn’t there to mask a hidden vulnerability proves atypical."

We were sitting in front of this during the show, so while we could hear the projectors clicking away, I didn't really realize that they were actually running (a lot! of) loose film strips through the projectors.
Godspeed showed various film loops during the show. The first was the word "Hope" hand scratched onto individual frames of film. Because it was so dark, I had to use a long exposure time and so ended up with more than one Hope.
Candles lit at the base of a large crucified Christ. The lights in the church were almost all out during the show, so the candles left were especially striking.

Etta finishes eating the banana slice, gets interested in the camera. Nina is in the background, trying to figure out how to escape the table.
We also put some banana slices on the table, but Nina was too scared about being on the table to eat anything, so Etta ate both slices. That is sort of Etta's deal.
An experiment in which we let the rats explore the kitchen table.
