Geese running wild through the streets of the city.

The above-ground parking garage next to the building I work in has been leveled over the past few weeks, no doubt to make way for a glorious midtown greenspace.

Proscribed activities. I've never actually figured out whether someone putting up a sign like this has any legal recourse when they speak out against what must be totally legal activities (hair braiding?). *Nice* lettering job, though.

Might bear looking at one of the larger sizes of this shot to see the signage. This is from where E trains are born.

Samples of the sound of "singing / roaring / booming" dunes. Very low frequency sound produced by localized dune avalanches, with accompanying explanation, sound samples and historical instances. Amazing.

Working on a map for work, using this as a basis. The high contrast makes it look like most of midtown and the financial district is flooded, when in fact they are not.

Still really too early for all this. And there's nothing really comforting in voting by algorithm, especially when it seems like Kucinich is my best choice. Dammit.
