Not to get all livejournal-y, but Last Splash has turned into my album of choice for those moments that I'm feeling really down, not because I find it bouncy and peppy, but because the combination of noise washes and fragile vocals incredibly cathartic.

Maybe I should be reacting differently to this. But this video is hilarious. From the associated news story: "Men in tailored suits were caught in a lapel-singeing cloud." Glad more people weren't hurt, and I hope the injured pull through.

South Shore incinerator building. Neil asked me what typeface they were using and I think it looks like Neutra. Does that mean this building was designed by Richard Neutra, or is it a knockoff?
