This is oooold. I remember this being a highlight of the free music videos on iTunes, that's how old. But it's awesome. I guess also it helps being a film professor when it comes time to direct your own music video.

Just learned today that "Dr. Tulp" was a nickname of the Dutch surgeon Claes Peterszen. According to The Island at the Center of the World, he administered the oath of allegiance to the VOC and the Dutch govt to the first wave of Manhattan's colonists.
